Rip off your boyfriend’s jeans!

today’s trend for denim is the boyfriend fit or baggy jean AND destroyed or ripped. some people think this trend is not all that nice but i love it! it’s a great spring look that is so casual and comfortable without looking overly sloppy (no more sweat pants with UGG boots please!). the boyfriend fit is gaining a lot of celebrity wear with people like katie holmes, jen aniston, and sienna miller sporting the look.

taking the “distressed” denim look to the extreme has also become quite the trend with all jeans styles including skinnies, bootcut, and especially the boyfriend fit. ripped jeans are all over the celebrity scene. rihanna, reese witherspoon, and rachel bilson among others have been spotted in this look.

designer denim labels have been all over this trend of ripped and/or boyfriend fit but the label that seems to have taken the celebrity scene by storm is current elliot denim clothing line. this is the jean that many celebrities have been seen wearing lately. with their vintage soft denim, the look is casual, comfortable, and effortless. they seem to have mastered the look of vintage, distressed, and the boyfriend fit in its most appealing way.
